Very thrilled to be playing the one-of-a-kind Trinity House Theatre with my full band. And especially thrilled to be sharing the evening with my good friend and a great songwriter, Bill Edwards. I'll be sitting in with his band for a set with Bill, then playing a set with my bandmates Dave Roof, Tony Pace and Brian Williams. Bill and I will be pulling the bands together for a couple of songs at the end. Looking forward to this!

Holiday Busk for Charity

Crazy Wisdom Tea Room, 114 S. Main Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan

This new event is based on "Holiday Busk for Charity" created by Irish musician and really good man, Glen Hansard, who has gathered a number of Dublin musicians together every Christmas Eve for the last few years to raise money for Simon Community--a homeless shelter in Dublin, Ireland. Over a dozen Michigan acoustic music performers will be gathering at Crazy Wisdom on December 23rd to "busk" outside and inside the store on behalf of "Lost Voices" (http://www.lostvoices.org), a group of folk and blues musicians who help at-risk boys and girls find healing by inviting them to reach into their deepest feelings and ideas, then express them in music. I'll be performing with my friend, Bill Edwards, and others inside the store from 8-8:25. Many other wonderful musicians, including Kitty Donohoe and Josh White, Jr. will be performing throughout the evening.

Visit https://www.facebook.com/crazywisdombookstore/ for performance schedule.

My friend, Bill Edwards, and I will be performing a song together for this special Empty Chair Night at one of the best listening rooms around! Not just another open mic show, the Empty Chair Night offers members of the audience a chance to join the hosts and featured act on stage to share a song in-the-round style.

The brain-child of Joel Palmer and co-hosted by Annie & Rod Capps, each month there is a featured guest artist. This special holiday show will feature multiple special guests including Jim Bizer, Bill Edwards and Judy Banker, Sharon Tse and John Finan, Bobby Pennock, Dave Falk and John Latini.

Audience members who are interested in performing sign up at the door. A new name is drawn each round for up to 7 chances to share a song. Performers of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged.

This is a special Sunday night concert event. Show time is 7pm! Tickets are $12. $9 for members of the Trinity House.

I'll be joining the musical lineup, with my friend, Dave Roof, for this 10th annual concert benefits the Veterans for Peace Chapter 93 Peace Scholarship Fund and the Wayne State University Center for Peace and Conflict Studies. Proceeds go to fund scholarships for students enrolled in an accredited peace studies program and for Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) programs to assist combat veterans suffering from serious trauma. Lineup (TBA) features popular area musicians covering the music of John Lennon. Tickets $15 at the door or online at http://theark.org/shows-events/2017/oct/05/veterans-peace-john-lennon-birthday-concert

"Three critically acclaimed songwriters share the stage" at one of Ann Arbor's intimate concert house jewels, Kerrytown Concert House. I am a huge fan of Josh and Ed's songwriting and am excited to be doing this special songwriter-in-the-round event with them. We'll be performing our original work, sometimes joining in on each other's songs and throwing in a trio version of our favorite covers here and there. It's going to be an outstanding night!
